Ex-varsity baller, Century Tuna Superbods winner, and reality show contestant Sylvester Ram Sagad nearly made it in New York as a model. He, however, is back in town doing big fashion shows, magazine editorials and TVCs . It must be remembered that some time ago, after his stint at the Philippine edition of Fear Factor, Ram was cast in the prime time soaps of ABS-CBN. Now he plays support to the actors in said studio.

Rising Boy

Twenty-two-year-old ex-karter and ABS-CBN actor Matteo Guidicelli may not be the typical leading man of the tall-dark-and-hunky type but he is surely getting good breaks in his home studio. Recently he starred in a Star Cinema rom-com My Cactus Heart, where he took on an important lead part. Matteo has a B.A. on Performing Arts in the musical theater field from the Columbia College in Chicago.

My Gaz!

As if the summer 2012 campaign’s not enough, Bench Body came out again with a real sexy shocker. It’s rugby player Gaz Holgate in tight underwear! Twenty-three-year-old Gaz was part of the Philippines squad for the 2011 Asian Five Nations Division 1 in South Korea. He also appeared recently in a local music video, prompting speculations of a showbiz entry for the hunky athlete.

Conspicuously absent from the much-awaited summer campaign this year of local clothing brands Bench and Bench Body is in-house exhibitionist Rafael Rosell. The 30-year-old bit player seemed to have lost his erstwhile lucrative contract [and some favors with the underwear company] most recently. Maybe he got too scraggy and wan and shriveled for even an XS Bench briefs?

Muli on DVD

“A love story…whose complications, joys and tragedies provide a testament to the ultimate power of love.” That’s how Muli [The Affair] was described when it was released in late 2010. Now the 2-disc DVD “with special features” of the movie is out! Catch Sid Lucero and Cogie Domingo as the ill-fated lovers in this indie film buzzed about as one of the best Filipino gay movies to come out in years
