Award-winning hunk actor and businessman Allen Dizon did not disrobe in the controversial film Butas [which is showing finally, starting on 28 January 2009 in Robinson Galleria, Robinson Ermita, Remar Theater, Isetan Cinerama, Gotesco Grand Central, Gotesco Ortigas, Robinson Iloilo, ABC Guadalupe and Cebu Vistarama]. In Butas, he got good reviews for his subdued performance as the weakling husband of his unfaithful wife. His next film under his own company ATD Entertainment Productions is Marino with Marco Alcaraz, Victor Basa, Rico Barrera, and Mike Tan. Written and directed by Ateneo graduate and Cinemalaya alum Paul Sta Ana, Marino will be the first indie movie with sequences shot in Thailand. It’s all about the lives of Filipino seamen and their families. Outside showbiz, Allen Dizon is happily married with three kids. He has a car-trading business and a Kenny Rogers Roasters franchise in SM San Fernando, Pampanga.
