One-time Mossimo Bikini Summit contestant André Endique is looking good these days. He’s in the new KFC commercial airing almost every minute in the major tv channels. That makes for great exposure for this 21-year-old looker, who has set his eyes on showbiz, too.

Hey Andre Endique! What have you been doing lately? Not much has been heard from you after your star-turning appearance in the Coke TVC eh? Never mind if that Jiro guy beat you at the 2009 Mossimo Bikini Summit. You’ll do just fine. I think. By the way, that guy behind you seems cute, too.

This adorable tv commercial model is not just a pretty little face with a nice little body and a little .. uh, he is also talented. He’s a singer, dancer, host and composer. He is good at the violin. The toned bod he owes much to swimming and tennis. So there, talent casters and tv producers take note of this smart and skilled little kid!

Minor league models Andre Endique [left] and Herson Barias ham it up – in masks – for the camera. Andre tried to grab the top prize at the Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009, but was thwarted in his bid by a better-prepared Jiro Shirakawa. Yet, Andre got noticed in the competition, and has landed some big projects for tv and print ads. On the other hand, Herson with the long tongue, has also done some rounds in the bikini pageant circuit to relative success. Maybe he’ll do Mossimo, too, next year to up his street cred.

Quick! What do Lem Pelayo [left], Mark Manicad [center] and Andre Endique have in common? Aside from the fact that they all participated in the Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009. Other than the fact that they are commercial models, too. Of course, they are all cute and not that tall and can fit into tiny bikinis without fear. But, what else is their common denominator? Anyone?

Freshman Caveat + Mossimo Update

The video Freshman is officially released today in VCD format in record stores and video outlets. The thing is, although its solo act, Andrew Miguel is flawless and hot and sexy, the producers can not fully assure us that the frontal scenes are still there, clear and intact. So, if you will be happy with a split-second shot of Andrew Miguel’s penis, then buy the VCD [DVD will be released Monday]. Otherwise, DON’T buy.

These are the other candidates of Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009. According to the press release in major dailies yesterday, this is the best batch ever. I might just have to disagree since the bestest batch was that of Brent Javier in 2003. And then again, this could be the second best batch ever – what with the fine and good-looking boys [see photos above] in the competition. Regarding the free tickets to the show, someone emailed and suggested that the Mossimo stores in the metro might just have them for you. So, troop to the stores and ask for tickets to the limited-seats-only show on Saturday at the Skydome of SM North EDSA.

Colt: Andre Endique

The new kid on the block is Andre Endique. The 18-year-old high school graduate of Valley High School in Las Vegas, NV, recently appeared in a Coke commercial [“mag Coke lang syempre!“] and from then on, his career has been on the upswing. He’s now gathered a local following after starring in that TVC. Andre, who stands 5’7”-tall, is set to invade showbiz pretty soon.
