One of the frontrunners in TV5’s reality show Artista Academy is 20-year-old cutie Brent Manzano. He used to be known a couple of years ago as Bryan Manzano [see photos], who competed as a teen with a not-so-teenie-weenie wiener in the bikini contests around the metro. Well, he’s just about done with the tighty-whities-in-public look now as he prepares for his showbiz dream via Artista Academy. Will he make it?

The brother also rises. Or at least he’s trying to. Aljur‘s younger bro Avin Abrenica is out to make a name for himself in showbiz by joining TV5’s reality search Artista Academy. He’s one of the finalists, and he’s getting a lot of feedback. Artista Academy airs from Monday to Friday at 11.45 a.m. and 9 p.m., and on Saturdays at 9.30 p.m on TV5.

Is anyone watching TV5’s latest reality search for new actors, Artista Academy? I am. And I’m rooting for this refreshing Cebuano guy who goes by the name of Benigno Jose “Benjoe” Leoncio. Benjoe is a 20-year-old model and Civil Engineering student at the University of San Carlos. He’s one of the eight finalists in the TV5 show, together with Aljur‘s sexy brother, Avin.
