Lex Movies in NYC

Those in the East Coast can now watch some of the indie flicks produced locally in the past few years. Four gay independent films written by Lex Bonife will have its US premiere in July 2011 in New York City. The movies will be shown at The Producers Club located at 358 West 44th Street [between 8th and 9th Ave.]. The Barako Cafe a.k.a. The Justin de Leon and Gio Gapas [penis shot] movie Intertwined a.k.a Pulupot will be screened on 14 July 2011.

The Game in Juan’s Life a.k.a. Ang Laro Sa Buhay ni Juan, featuring Ace Ricafort [penis shot] will be shown on 8 July 2011.

And the Marco Morales and Arjay Carreon [penis shot] starrer Censored Dreams a.k.a. Laruang Lalake will be presented on 7 and 22 July 2011.

Laruang Lalake

Finally, the new movie Laruang Lalake will finally be shown in theaters starting 20 October 2010. This feature, according to Lex, is “a realist movie about the making of a gay soft porn film and the lives that intersect within.” Lex is actually Lex Bonife who wrote and produced the movie. It is directed by Joselito Altarejos, who also did Lihim ni Antonio, which recently won the 2010 best film award at the International Film Festival Gay and Lesbian or the Festival de la Luna in Valencia, Spain.
