Ronee Ray de Castro aka Rei de Castro is a 23-year old 6′-tall model of Mediatrix Modeling Agency. Last seen as one of the pre-pageant candidates of Mr. World-Philippines, Rei backed out at the last minute. The dusky stunner from Mandaluyong City, has also appeared in commercial spots on tv and print ads, and has been doing quite a number of ramp shows of late. Rei remains unfazed despite the nasty rumors about him, i.e. the garden variety of rumors surrounding a male model like cosmetic surgery [nose and chin], sexual preference, and wealthy benefactors.
Twenty-two year old Engineering student Jayvee Cepeda is getting to be a regular in this blog, and how! He recently came out of recovery from a motorcycle accident, but now he is back and roaring, uh, raring to work. The regular chunka-hunka Bed-goer does modeling on the side, plus some stints in the Datu ng Maynila and Maharlikang Pilipino search, both all-male personality [read: bikini] contests.
Cebu’s top male model is arguably Harold Dee. The half-Filipino, half-German Cebu native has been modeling for years in the Queen City, mostly for top brands and major designers in the region. Last year, he appeared in the Bench Fever underwear fashion show in Manila. Although he was a headturner in a sea of models at the Bench show, he was largely unknown to most Metro Manila fashion watchers. In Cebu, he is a member of the MAC [Models Association of Cebu], which most probably is the equivalent of the influential PMAP in Manila. Although Harold Dee is now 29 years old, he still does the rounds of ramp shows and major campaigns in Cebu. Easily the most-liked model there because of his good looks, bearing and proper attitude, not a few are wondering why Harold Dee has not invaded Manila’s savage modeling biz.
Frankly, he does look ordinary to me but there’s something about Dante Balboa, or Elmer Anisco, that makes him tick in the sex-o-meter. Dante Balboa was a former runway and print-ad model and member of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP). During his heyday, he was the Mr. Young Philippines and 2nd runner-up at the Manhunt Philippines search. For some unfathomable reason, he was named by showbiz writers as ‘educated hunk” and “brainy boldie.” It must be because of the fact that he majored in Architecture at the University of the Philippines aside from also attending special courses in Computer and Landscape Architecture, B.A. Film and Audio-Visual Communication and B.A. Philosophy at the State U. He was also an instructor on philosophy, language, and literature at Far Eastern University (FEU). Quite a feat for an actor who strip-bared in Seiko Films’ skin flicks of yore.
The Chlorella Growth Factor [CGF] must have worked wonders on this kid. Now that he is of legal age, we can now feature Michael Seifert, erstwhile model of the Cherifer [with taurine and CGF] growth and weight promoting vitamins for children. At the recent gala night of the 2007 Philippine Fashion Week, many were wondering who the hunky model was. Apparently, he has bulked up and, er, grown. He is half-German, half-Filipino [mom is from Bacolod City], and a former child commercial model [together with his sister, Sandra – cohost of that midnight show on GMA 7, Walang Tulugan]. Michael went to Brent International School-Manila and speaks four languages fluently – German, English, Filipino and French.
