Varsity Bikini

College basketball produced some really good models today. Tall and interesting guys who are daring and baring. Just like Gil Wagas and Miko Raval, who are making waves on the runway in all their near-nakedness.

The 6’3″-tall Gil played for the University of the East Red Warriors some time in 2009. Although he never played to great heights (and pop status in the UAAP), he went on to become a sought-after model, with his interesting look and long, lean frame.  Gil was Mister International-Philippines 2013.

Miko

On the other hand, Miko Raval once played hoops for the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons. The 6’1″-tall cutie  is fast becoming one of the it boys of Bench Body. He’s appeared in almost all the campaigns of the underwear company lately, plus some major exposures in the runway shows. He’s also into showbiz these days.

I know you love Miko Raval. Tall, cute and a former varsity player who knew the ways of the world. This 21-year-old hunk of a man is now in showbiz, as he’s all set to star in Moon of Desire on ABS-CBN. Now, if only he’ll be more daring in the baring.

A cute guy in showbiz with a nice bod has to disrobe to be noticed. At least that’s how it goes in Philippine showbiz. Twenty-year-old Raphael Robes, who came out of nowhere to land a gig in the annual Metro Bodies feature of Metro magazine, is doing just that. We’re only too happy to notice.

Twenty-three-year-old LA Aguinaldo may not be a familiar face in Manila’s modelling scene but he’s sure to create waves in the weeks to come. The Filipino-Italian model has been booked for the season’s shows on the runways. In the meantime, we get to ogle at his fine bod for the summer.

If the title of the afternoon series is Moon of Desire, expect sexy shirtless boys 
romping around in the small screen. Moon of Desire will be shown on 
ABS-CBN’s afternoon weekday slot starting 31 March 2014.
Maybe we’ll get to see Dominic Roque at his boldest ever. The young and unknown boy
in undies in the old Penshoppe ads is now one of the lead actors in the series.

And then again JC de Vera, career resurrected from tv oblivion,
might just show off more than baring his torso, just to prove to the young’uns
that well, he still has what it takes to be a future leading man.

Before his management agency [or manager] forbids him to wear bikinis and briefs and skimpy what-nots in public in line with a clean image, here are photos of ex-varsity baller and now model Miko Raval, front and back.  The 23-year-old hunk is now appearing in bit roles in ABS-CBN’s soaps and shows, prepping up for more tv exposures in the near future.
