By popular email demand, here’s Joshua Pacquiao again, to brighten up our sunshiney Saturday! He’s one of the top favorites in the upcoming contest Mr. & Ms. Expo World- Philippines 2008, which will have its finals night on October 5 at the Pagcor Grand Theater in Paranaque City. Joshua Pacquiao swears that that is is surname and is not a bomba-star-fancy-name gimmick. He hopes to win the contest and proceed to Guatemala City in November for the international finals.
Dennis Rosaldo was one of the contestants in the recently-concluded Mr. & Ms. Expo World Philippines 2008. The 19-year-old native of Cavite City did not make it as one of the finalists but he surely got noticed for his youthful Filipino looks. Dennis Rosaldo stands 5’9″-tall and he hopes to enter the glitzy world of showbiz soon.
Athan Collado is on a winning streak. Last night, he took home the Mr. Expo World Philippines 2008 title, edging out heavy favorites Carl Rosadino, Brian Bernardo and Patrick Perlas. That’s strike two for Athan as he recently won the title Man of the Year 2008. He will then go to Guatemala City in November for the international finals. Athan, a DLSU graduate, works for the Hyatt Hotel and Casino in Manila.
One of the reasons I am watching the Mr. & Ms. Expo World Philippines pageant tonight at the Metro Bar along West Ave, Q.C. is Joshua Pacquiao, the cute candidate with the famous surname. Will Pacquiao defeat his eleven opponents handily? Will it be a K.O. for him? The pageant starts at 8 p.m. and tickets will be sold at the gate.
Here’s another Racho, who hopes to make his mark in bikini-dom come. Nineteen-year-old Cargean Racho is one of the contestants in this year’s Mr. & Ms. Expo World Philippines. Prior to the contest, Cargean Racho was proclaimed as Mr. Polytechnic University of the Philippines [PUP] 2008, a personality contest among the PUP campuses. He represented PUP-Sta. Rosa in Laguna, where he is taking up BS Entrepreneurial Management. Catch Cargean and the other guys at the Mr. & Ms. Expo World Philippines contest on October 6 at the Metro Bar along West Ave., Q.C.
This tall male model by the name of Patrick Perlas might just wing it at the Mr. & Ms. Expo World Philippines pageant. Pre-pageant judges are taking note of his confidence, bearing, built and eloquence. Patrick Perlas is one of the tallest and brawniest candidates in this year’s contest. Pageant night will be next Monday, October 6 at the Metro Bar along West Ave., Quezon City.
Twenty-year-old Mark John Sellado is one of the male contestants in the Mr. & Ms. Expo World – Philippines search. He is a good friend of the good-looking Pacquiao guy, who is also one of the candidates in this year’s pageant. Mark John is one of the exciting reasons why you should watch this year’s contest at the Metro Bar on 6 October [Monday] at 7 p.m. Who knows, the 5’9″-tall model might just seal it and go on to represent the Philippines in the international finals in Guatemala City in November.
Eighteen-year-old Hiroshi Torobu is the new Ginoong Bicolandia, the biggest annual male pageant held in the Bicol Region [consisting of six provinces]. The 5’9″-tall student of San Beda College [Manila] was the top favorite to win the contest. Hiro is also one of the more popular contestants in the Mr. & Ms. Expo World – Philippines search, which will now be held on 6 October [Monday] at the Metro Bar along West Avenue. Twenty-three year-old Athan Collado was recently proclaimed as Man of the Year 2008 at the Music Museum, the same title won by Joseph Kidwell in 2005 and where Ram Ace Bautista placed first-runner-up last year. Next, the 5’9″-tall part-time model will take on the Mr. & Ms. Expo World Philippines pageant next month, against 13 other hopefuls. Will it be another title in Athan’s name on October 5?
Aside from Joshua Pacquiao, another favorite [from last week’s press conference] among the male contestants in the Mr. & Ms. Expo World-Philippines 2008 is Brian Bernardo. The tallest in his batch at 6’4″, fresh-faced Brian is a 19-year-old student at the St. Francis of Assisi College in Las Pinas City. He hopes to win the national finals on October 5 at the Pagcor Theater so that he can go to Guatemala City for the international competition.
