Vintage Sunday

L-R: Paul, Denmark and Jay
Our recent posts on the Guesande siblings have generated so much response, considerable buzz about these exotic dancers-brothers with the large tadgers. Someone even suggested gathering them together for a limited, one-night engagement. Sort of a pants-off dance-off thing, with dingdongs dangling, of course! Now, if only we can locate these three these days. Anyone?

Vintage Sunday

Hunky chunky exotic dancer Paul Guesande was the, uh, premier danseur during his era. He was de facto credited for the dance moves of current-time macho dancers in the gay bars, which moves involve more masculine and dynamic dance steps, a la Pop and Lock. Prior to that, the dancers in the bars were doing the slow seductive strip show, akin to slithering snakes or wriggling worms. He has since retired and went to be a fitness routine instructor. Distressingly missed, Paul Guesande has faded into the quiet life.

For C.

This post is for a dear friend, C., who has the hots for Paul Guesande, erstwhile danseur-provocateur from Adonis, a gay club in Quezon City. Reportedly, he is now a dance instructor somewhere in Greenhills, where his services are most needed in the most indispensable and impassioned way. Too, after retiring from Adonis, he used to drive a taxicab around the metro – thrilling his happy passengers with his bulky and beefy bearing on the driver’s seat.

All that bulge

The revealing photos of Ram Ace Bautista got people talking about his swelling, which took on different flaps and flops underneath his wet and thin jockeys. Prior to Ram Ace, Paul Guesande was already doing that bulge-in-undersized-skivvies thing when he posed for the now-defunct Rice bookazine [photo above] . Reportedly, mighty beefy Paul , done gyrating in Adonis and driving a taxicab around the metro, is now a dance instructor in a Greenhills studio.

Missing Paul Guesande

Paul Guesande was the, uh, premier danseur during his era. He was de facto credited for the dance moves of current-time macho dancers in the gay bars, which moves involve more masculine and dynamic dance steps, whether using prescribed or improvised spins and gestures. Prior to that, the dancers in the bars were doing the slow seductive strip show, akin to slithering snakes. As the life-span of bump-and-grinders is rather short, Paul Guesande, who was getting up in years, has since retired. Distressingly missed, Paul Guesande has faded into the quiet life.
