Den joins Mister Philippines

This time he is using his real name. Dennis Barrion, that tufted BS Math graduate and current law student at the Ateneo [I am not sure if he is still there on a regular student status] who easily won the Ginoong Pilipinas title using the name Denver Olivarez, is again joining another male contest, the first-ever Mister Philippines pageant, which will be held on July 8, 2007. He is competing against 13 other pre-screened males, among which are former Provoq nudie Michael Raymond Lim, Kourus’ chunky Louie Zambarrano [our dick-a-day post soon!], and Bodyheat’s Joaquin Casado, plus a host of other pageant veterans and two German-Filipino twinkie-candidates from the Philippines-Europe Supermodel 2007 Quest. The winner and runners-up in the Mister Philippines pageant will be sent to Mister International 2007 which will be held in Mexico City, Mexico in October; Mister ExpoWorld International which will be held in Guatemala sometime in November, and The International Man pageant which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia in December. Here’s hoping that Dennis will win the title from the stiff competition. I’m just thinking, Ginoong Pilipinas is the literal translation of Mister Philippines.
