The Valentino Magazine Coverboy Model Search held last summer was absolutely the most fearless male contest this year . Held at a big commercial venue [Metro Bar], outside the usual gay bars and small haunts, the contest featured more than 20 boys in flimsy pieces of cloth to cover their privates. The search was uproariously well-attended – and it went way up to 3 am for the finale, when the eventual winners were proclaimed. One of the contestants was Marc Joseph Ortega, a 20-year-old hopeful from Bulacan, who unfortunately didn’t get the top plum but got to get his 4-paged fame in Valentino magazine anyways.
