Is the gay indie movie dead? In 2012, only a handful of movies came out of the queer mill. Gone are the days when there were two or three flicks out per week. Now, they come in trickles! The boys, though more daring and so out there, are not getting enough, uh,  exposures because of the dearth of financial investors for movies of the lustful ass-and-penis variety. Maybe it’s because of technology these days where people have all access to world cinema. Maybe there’s no new and interesting boy in the scene, in the mold of Marco Morales, Harry Chua, Arjay Carreon or Kris King [in photo]. Maybe people just got tired of the Filipino gay indie formula [you know what it is].  I am hoping that in 2013, there would be a renaissance of some sort for this kind of films.

  4. wala ng mga talagang hunks at gwapo ngayon eh, puro mga twinks nalang sa indie films, eh sangkatutak naman mga porno twinks sa net, libre pa… why waste my precious time.. hire nalang ako dakota live pa! hhahaha

  8. the reason is, yung mga gumagawa ng mga queer films na to ay WALANG SKILL, walang kaalam alam sa filmmaking… you cant get respectable actors (even for a soft porn film) if your skill is not respectable… so to these directors (who obviously make this films because they themselves love seeing dicks and asses, and they make films just to lure not-so-bright but hunky boys into “showbiz), LEARN HOT TO WRITE A SCRIPT, HOW TO MAKE A FILM. you’re a disgrace to the queer film industry, and to the film industry in general!

  13. I’m guessing the “gay indie flick” is dying because unlike a 5-10 years when these films were actually good, most of them now are just plain trash, and viewers have started realizing they’re trash.

    Gone are the days of “Duda” and “Ang Lihim ni Antonio” wherein there was actually craft put into the film, even with the skin and sex, and with respectable performers with actual talent being part of the cast.

    And most viewers anyway watch these flicks for the skin and sex, and even that has become badly-done by (as someone put it above) unskilled “filmmakers” who think they can earn just by churning anything out.

    So if even the skin and sex are badly-done, then why waste money on watching these? People would just download porn.

    I also agree with the comment above that most of the newer “filmmakers” who are of no filmmaking talent whatsoever are just doing it to lure unsuspecting boys who want to break into stardom.

    Besides, who really wants to see Chamyto over and over again? Ewww.

  22. Na-feature yung anak ni Kris King sa GMA. Kaya pala anong role tinatanggap ni Kris dahil sa pagmamahal nya sa anak nya na me pambihirang sakit. Kahit magaling syang aktor, di naman madalas ang project nya kaya kahit soft porn indie films at ibalandra ang nota nya e tinatanggap talaga nya pero kulang pa rin pantustos sa sakit ng anak niya. Inamin nya rin na kumakapit na rin sya sa patalim para lang sa pamilya at sa anak nyang me sakit.

  29. This is from Pinoy Watching Premium. That site has lost its glory. Too bad. I can actually share a lot of downloads from that site. Pambawi ko na rin sa admin nila na nakakaimbyerna. Ang arte arte ng registration. Hahaha hahaha. Was able to download photos and couple of videos from there. 1K kaya ang membership! Kalerqui. Dinelete pa ang videos ng mga super hot subjects na nabiktima nila. Hahaha. May models, NCAA basket varsity player, crossovers to tv, and conyo kids na ang yummeeeeeeh lungs!

  42. Speaking of Marco Morales.. hanggang ngayon wala pa rin bang DVD ng Halik sa Tubig nila ni Orlando Sol? RD, gamitin mo naman ang powers at connections mo para makahanap ng copy niya.. tapos share mo sa amin kahit screencaps man lang nung makapigil-hiningang love scene ni Marco at Orlando!

He instead offered this more legit celeb named Cogie who he said was a friend who he can arrange with me. At first i did not believe but he sent him over to my hotel room same day… I paid 10k though but at least

    2. Chusera. Yung story mo lang kay kris king ang accurate, yung kay cogie imbento ka never pa sya nababa sa 10k level dahil may napatol pa rin sa kanya sa higher asking price kahit na mashoba na sya.

  58. yeah, it takes a good project and the right guy to play the main character to make a hit and to sustain interest in the stars… lalaki sa parola and lihim ni antonio have strong storylines, which virtually assured harry laurel and josh ivan morales of softporn stardom… to a lesser extent, even jeff luna made a mark in libido… but no strong follow-up projects were lined-up for them, sad to say… others like johnron tanada, douglas robinson, arjay carreon and charles delgado needed better vehicles than the movies that launched them… i’d like to see the likes of carlos agassi, jared alvero, allen molina or mark revilla get their well-toned bodies showcased in fairly well-written written and adequately produced sexy flicks… wag naman yung parang sampu-sampera lang na pakitaan ng burat db?
