Belo’s Latest Squeeze: Hayden Kho Jr.

Hayden de la Santa Kho Jr. is famous skin doctor Vicki Belo’s new love. Hayden is a physician [graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, where he is a campus figure together with another hot med cutie, Serge Ledesma], having passed the 2007 Physician Licensure examinations. In between medical school terms, Hayden [height: 6’2 1/2″] was a favorite model of J. Moreno, even bringing him to the US for his fashion shows.
As to the Belo-Kho affair, what struck me most from this January-December affair was that Belo [screen age: 50] claims Hayden is 24 years her junior. Pardon my math, but Hayden is only 26? Anybody from the UST Records Section?

Peregrine: Dayal Chowdhary

Pro model Dayal Chowdhary, with his unique Filipino-Indian looks, stands 6’2 and has appeared in numerous ad campaigns, foremost of which was the Penshoppe Denimlab Rockfest last year. He once joined the last Man of the Year contest [with eventual winner Joseph Kidwell, and 1st RU Johnron Tanada], and the 2003 MTV Fashionista Best Model Search [won by Bjorn Engler over crowd favorite Brent Javier]. Dayal is also venturing into the indie flicks, with a role in the recently-released Cinema One Original movie Seroks.

Josh Ivan Morales Multi-Mug Shots

Mario Eduria a.k.a. Maico Eduria n.k.a. Josh Ivan Morales is 25 years old and a native of Cagayan de Oro City. He was enroled as a third year BS Commerce student at the Liceo de Cagayan [an old and esteemed school and famous for its nursing course in the South] when the male pageants made their call. As a campus figure – he won Mr. University, Maico [as he was known then] was the favorite of the designers in his hometown. Not wanting to limit himself within Cagayan de Oro, he packed his bags and went to Manila.

[From l-r: Taken in 2004 right after the Bodyshots Reborn finals, in 2005 for local L Magazine, in 2006 for the magazine Valentino, and in 2007 as official press photo for his Men of Provoq]
In Manila, he joined a group called Calendar Boys wherein he appeared in a calendar fully exposed to the elements, hung out to dry. Despite the exposure and the controversy, he was able to enter the then models-only bikini-and-body show, Bodyshots [Reborn]. He lost. He then appeared in various states of undress in gay publications until the movies called. Well, at least one movie called Manila Exposed, a hard porn film shot crudely and locally. Next thing we knew, he is now part of the group called Men of Provoq, a group of song-and-dance guys who tease and tempt in their colorful jockeys. Heck, if he teases and tempts still, I’d rather go watch Manila Exposed instead.

In the Raw: John Anthony Lopez

John Anthony Vela Lopez stands 6′ and is now one of the more popular male models in Manila. He literally came from nowhere and blazed through the runways and media with his organic Filipino look. He was featured in last year’s Cosmopolitan Philippines 69th St. Bachelors’ Bash and in the Bench Fever fashion show. A contestant in the 2007 Mister World-Philippines, he backed out at the last minute due to conflict with his schedule in a TV commercial shoot.

Dreamboat: Rodel Felicidario

I remember clearly his audition video for the toothpaste image model search [Closeup To Fame], where the camera follows a young guy around the streets of Kalookan City in his mock Hardwood Mitchell & Ness jersey and shorts with Spartan sandals. I was thinking this could be a diamond in the rough.
Unfortunately, although he passed the auditions , he did not get through the finals. However, the guy’s back, polished and with vengeance. He was in Cosmopolitan Philippines magazine’s 69 Eligible Bachelors for 2006. He also bagged a modeling contract for one of the top agencies, which booked him his most lucrative deal yet – the Bench Fever show. He has also appeared in TVCs and print media commercials, such as BPI and Globe Telecoms. Pretty soon, he will invade showbiz.

Island Heat: Sergio Giray

He was one of the models who were brave enough to do the full monty on stage in that male revue Penis Talks. Sergio Giray, who is 22 years old and stands at 5’9″, has also done the rounds of bikini contests, most memorable of which was a first runner-up finish in the Island Heat Bikini Contest in 2005 and a fourth runner-up prize in Mr. Kourus 2005 which was won by pixie-faced model, Dennis Dimalibot.

Sizzler: Jon Mullally

So, that’s the correct spelling of his surname pala. Icon Magazine’s latest coverboy is Jonathan Mullally, an Irish-Filipino who won last year’s Century Tuna Superbods Image Model Search. The guy’s been modeling for a couple of years in Manila and lately, he has gone the sexy route via the Cosmopolitan Philippines 69th Street Bachelors’ Bash. He is also an endorser now of local underwear brand Bench.
Some other facts about the guy: He was discovered by singer Ogie Alcasid’s manager when he was lining up for a signing session with singer Regine Velasquez. Jon used to take the bus home to Bulacan when he was still new in the biz, and he would get stares from passengers because of his Pan-Asian looks and height. He now lives in that new condo [often seen with an exotic-looking lady] across the now-closed raunchy bar Blue Bar near Club Government in Makati.

Winsome: John Carlo Cruz

John Carlo Cruz was last seen as one of the 10 finalists at the Mister World Philippines 2007, which was eventually won by Emmanuel Mago. This seasoned male pageant contestant was also in the search for Man of the Year that was bagged by chunky-hunky Joseph Kidwell. This 6′ charmer is also a commercial model as he has appeared in TVCs.
