Bikini Contest Tonight!

If you’re not doing anything tonight [15 November 2011, Tuesday], head over to the Metrobar at West Avenue in Quezon City for the grand finals of the Asia Pacific Bikini Summit 2011. Now, there are 19 boys in the roster of candidates – some familiar, some fresh – all in tiny stylish ‘kinis by designer Ricky Abad. For ticket inquiries, call 710.0352 or 0921 549.8931. Photos above are four of the candidates, from left: James Rivera, Rookie Renz Dilla, Nathan Madrigal and Jeriel Alfaro.

Tempting Lucas

This is former University of the East Red Warriors forward guard Lucas Tagarda. He was one of the hotter and better looking players in the UAAP. Now that he’s retired his No. 7 jersey from the league, he’s moving on to the PBA D-League as one of the members of the Cobra Energy team. It seems like we’ll be seeing more of him in action then.

Popular

New York, NY – Still the top male supermodel with Filipino blood running through his modelesque veins is Paolo Roldan. Made famous by Givenchy in its Coup de Foudre ad [with Paolo in his full frontal glory] in the June 2010 issue of Vogue Paris, the 6’2″-tall model from Toronto, Canada is lording it over the runways and print ads for the top brands.

Captain Simon

Continue discussion here. Someone just sent this photo of Simon Atkins, ex-DLSU skipper of the basketball varsity team and now Cebuana Lhuillier Gems valued player. Simon once entered showbiz via a bit role in a GMA-produced horror flick and a stint as one of the underwear models for Hanford briefs. He now plays alongside controversial player Terrence Romeo for the Gems in the PBA Developmental League [D-League].

The Brothers Tang

Hot Saturday morning everyone! Our theme today is brothers, brothers with abs and handsome faces. These are the dreamy Eurasian [German-Vietnamese] Tang brothersDavid and Benjamin. Younger brother David has modeled for SM Department Store’s teen department, while Benjamin has done major Bench Body print ads and runway work.

Model Man

New York, NY – How about a break from all the varsity basketball players and the polarizing comments? So now, we come to male model Ram Sagad, who happens to be one of those – if not the first Filipino [born-and-raised] male model – who made considerable inroads in the highly competitive US modeling scene. Ram has done major campaigns stateside, and although he’s temporarily back there in Manila now, he hopes to continue his modeling career in NYC pretty soon. Oh wait, he used to play for the San Sebastian College Golden Stags basketball team!

Modesty Aside

Most fashion shows in the metro have long eschewed the concept of modesty. Take for example this one: it looks like male mod June Macasaet just came from his shift at the strip club and walked the runways of SMX in Mall of Asia for one of dem legit shows in the Philippine Fashion Week series. Of course, with such gratuitious display of bodily parts, I am not complaining. BTW, June played for the Centro Escolar University [CEU] men’s basketball team, the Scorpions a few years ago.

The Brothers Semerad

The newest it boys on the Bench Body block are the handsome and huge Semerads, identical twins David and Anthony. The 20-year-old Czech-Filipino hunks play for the San Beda College basketball team. When they’re not busy with school and hoops, they do modeling on the side. They appear in the latest Bench campaign, shirtless and in jeans. Hot boys!

Stuffy

Oh, so you want prissy. No naming names, just the goody, genteel posts? Let’s see, how about Aljur Abrenica and Rocco Nacino? Two of GMA’s best boys, bets for future leading manhood and stardom. But wait, these boys aren’t exactly to the manner born. Just ordinary boys with dark, bad skin taken from the waysides as they auditioned for reality shows, eventually polished for substantial showbiz compliance. So there! Proper connections, right amount of money and you can have Aljur and Rocco. No, I can’t do prissy.

Carry On

Continue discussion here. Apparently everyone’s so animated about the topic. And then, how about FEU Tamaraws player JR Cawaling? The 6’4″-tall varsity player is supposedly the apple of the eye of one Congressman from the South who gifted the basketball guy with a new Toyota Vios. [It’s not only politics that runs deep in the Congressman’s family, as he shares with his more popular and better-looking brother a healthy appetite for showbiz boys and basketball hunks.]
