Twenty-three-year-old Ally Reyes is a model and bit player in the movies. He was last seen in last year’s festival movie Desperadas and the 2005 comedy Ako Legal Wife. Of course, he is in those blink-and-you’ll-miss-me scenes, but the the 6′-tall part-time model is pursuing his career in showbiz just the same. Ally Reyes is a graduate of Banking and Finance from the Philippine School of Business Administration [PSBA] in Quezon City.
By now, after reading all comments -nasty or otherwise – on Jude Marco in Macau [see previous posts], you would already know that the Johnron is in that gambling capital, too. He is part of a group of guys performing in the popular discos in Fisherman’s Wharf and Avenida Comercial. Reportedly, the Johnron’s one of the top earners because of his popularity among the locals [and some ex-pats and tourists]. Of course, with such handsome face and a muscled bod that’s up to snuff, that would be a given.
Now you can relax and sit down. It’s Friday, the end of the work week for most people. It is time to unwind and take it easy a bit – now you wouldn’t have to be yanked by anxiety. Our boy for today is still unnamed as the photograph was merely handed to me sans ID and information. Nevertheless, he does seem cute in a sweaty-in-the-backwoods kind of way. Plus he is naked, with a body that’s a tad uncorrupted by city life. And he reminds me of someone, I can’t recall really. Who does he look like, guys?
TGIF! I think summer’s here already – the days are getting hotter in Manila, and I mean this literally. Of course, along with summer, the bikini contests are held – perfect rationalization for the guys to wear outdated yet sexy and tacky bikinis. Twenty-one year-old Jimmy Dionisio is a contest veteran as he has been in practically all of the bikini open competitions in the metro and other provinces. Jimmy Dionisio, who is the Ginoong Pilipinas-Metro Manila winner is from Caloocan City and stands 6′-tall.
Mr. Big Errol Iglesias was one of the featured guys in Cosmopolitan [Phils] magazine’s 69 hot bachelors f0r 2008. This hunky native of Zambales province has been in the modeling business for quite some time now. His efforts [and patience] are paying off, as he is starting to get noticed in the biz. He is listed in Cosmo as a registered nurse, although he is reportedly working now as a call center agent in Manila.
The first guy in our Then-and-Now series is this site’s newest phenom, male model Jude Marco Sy-pongco. A few years back, he had long curly hair, which made him stand out from a crowd. Of course, he had fair, smooth and rosy skin [see left photo]. Now, Jude Marco has moved to Macau as a dancer and entertainer and he is reportedly doing well, career- and financial-wise. He still looks gorgeous, except that he cut his hair short [see right photo]. This photo on the right was taken last November 2008, when he looked a bit lighter. Just the same, he looks mighty fine, if you ask me.
Wednesday’s called Hump Day in reference to making it through to the middle of the work week, or literally getting “over the hump.” Of course, soon the weekend’s here again. Which makes me generally happy, because I wouldn’t have to worry much about work and all. Our Hump Day boy is a cute amateur, who was once a contestant at the Ginoong Pilipinas 2005 – Metro Manila elimination round. Boyish Jericho Francisco is already 23 years old and a native of Nueva Ecija province.
Erstwhile child actor Paolo Contis has really grown up and how! Turning 25 years old in March, Paolo rose from being the cute chubby kid then a teen heartthrob in ABS-CBN before taking on comedy and anti-hero roles in rival station GMA-7. Amazingly, he also transformed into a hunk over the years. Recently, he was the main man in the annual flesh show of Cosmopolitan [Phils] magazine. On tv, he’s getting a lot of breaks in GMA-7’s shows, most notable of which is a hosting stint in the Philippine franchise of the sports reality show, My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad.
The image above is a still from the movie Sagwan, starring most members of the new sexy boy-group Cappuccinos. Now I’m just wondering how the hell the two guys above managed to make the scene so real. I mean, one’s face is on the other’s crotch – and surely, no serious play-acting or deft physical maneuver can hide the fact that that guy down there was obviously exploring the other one’s nether regions. Anyways, the movie got an X rating on its first review from the MTRCB, which means that “it is not suitable for pubic exhibition.” Yet, there is still hope because there’s the mandatory second review coming up plus the appeal to the Office of the President in case things go awry. And, just the same, the premiere night at the UP Film Institute, which is beyond MTRCB’s jurisdiction, will still push through on 4 February 2009!
